Why there are so many unemployed engineers?

As you saw in my previous post, we talked about how the government is putting in efforts, but it is not helping students much. In this post, I want to talk about its effect on the country. The process of pursuing engineering is being made easier and easier with time just so the students don’t feel pressured, are able to pass and become an engineer. This is giving rise to unemployed engineers or engineers in other fields which have nothing to do with engineering. Let’s take the example of computer science engineers. Go and search the news; Indian Computer Engineers are ruining the open source. You can find many more; this is just one example. So, the question is why is it happening? Yes, the process to become an engineer requires little to no effort today but why did the government make it so easy?
